Qualifications, registrations, memberships

​There are some posts where individuals are required by law to have a qualification and/or registration with a professional body. These include:

Social work:

• Social Work qualification and Social Work England registration
• Occupational Therapist qualification and HCPC registration
• Nursing qualification (RGN) and NMC registration

Teaching:

• Teaching qualification and QTS status

Educational Psychologists:

• BPS recognised degree in psychology, a Master’s Degree or Doctorate in Educational Psychology, eligible for chartered status, minimum of two years’ relevant work experience with children and or young people and, HCPC Registration

Barristers:

• Barrister qualification and a check against the BSB

Solicitors:

• Solicitor qualification and a check against the SRA

Legal Executives:

• Legal Executive qualification and a check against the CILEX
