Cyber security alert: important update for teams with external-facing services.
Check for an existing role profile, amend an existing profile or create a new one.
If you're recruiting to a post that already exists in your structure and you do not intend to make changes to the role, you can use the existing role profile.
If you do not hold a copy of the role profile, email Job.Evaluation@essex.gov.uk.
If you're making considerable changes to an existing role profile, you will need to complete a job evaluation.
You will need to submit this three weeks before the recruitment process starts to allow enough time for the job evaluation to be completed.

If this is a brand-new vacancy that you are starting from scratch, you'll need to create a new role profile and have it evaluated.
