Annual leave payments and deductions

Once you have made an employee a leaver on My Oracle, you will be able to check how much annual leave they have remaining.

Any requests for deductions or annual leave payments must be made before the payroll deadline of the 4th of the month they leaving to make sure it is calculated with the final pay.

If they have taken more annual leave than they are entitled to, these hours should be deducted from their final pay.

If an employee has remaining annual leave, they should take this prior to their final day. If this is not possible, tell Payroll about any annual leave hours the employee is owed so that they can be paid with their final salary.

Funded learning agreement deductions

If an employee has benefited from a funded learning agreement, and they are leaving within 12 months of completing the course, they may need to refund all or some of the costs.

Check their signed learning agreement for the relevant repayment details.

You will need to enter the repayment details on the form so that the appropriate amount can be deducted from their final pay. This will be reviewed and confirmed by People Support.

Relocation package cost repayments

If an employee had a relocation agreement when joining us, and they have been here for less than 3 years, then they may need to repay some or all the costs.

Check the relocation policy and information and the employee’s relocation agreement for more information.
