Share your summary of findings
At the end of your project, send a summary of the findings to research@essex.gov.uk.
This is to make sure the project has been delivered honestly and responsibly, according to the plan. It also helps to avoid duplication with similar projects in the future, which is costly to the council.
Share your report with participants
You should also send the report to the participants and public involvement collaborators, to show respect for them and acknowledge their contribution.
The lead advisor will contact you to discuss if you would like to share this report and your learning, through the Greater Essex Research Community of Practice. This transparency helps to build trust with the public and decision-makers.
Help us improve future projects
The lead advisor will also ask about:
- your experience of delivering the project
- public involvement with collaborators, participants and project staff
- what you might do differently in the future
Reflective learning is an important part of improving and is useful for both parties. This helps us to improve future training, guidance and support.
