Support for specific issues

Creating a supportive environment for colleagues with perimenopausal and menopausal symptoms.

Menopause at work

With three quarters of our workforce being female and more than two thirds aged between 40 and 64, we know it's important to offer additional consideration, support, and adjustments during perimenopause and menopause.

If you need extra support, you will be treated with dignity and understanding. We encourage healthy working practices and have arrangements in place to help support your wellbeing.

If symptoms are affecting you

Tell your manager if you begin to experience symptoms that may impact your ability to perform your role, or when you feel you need additional support. Arrange a meeting to discuss the support you need and the steps you and your manager can take to make sure you are supported.

The support you get will depend on what you need in your role. It may take the form of physical work place adjustments, wellbeing support from our employee assistance programme, or peer support from colleagues through the Women's Network and menopause channel.
