Wellbeing advice from national organisations

The NHS website is a trustworthy source to find out about a wide range of health and wellbeing issues, including symptoms, treatments and how to get medical help.

You can get mental health advice and support from Mind.

Local wellbeing services for the public

You can find information about mental, physical, family and practical wellbeing support on Essex.gov.uk.

MyReward wellbeing resources

On MyReward, there are dozens of articles, videos, and links to helpful websites, podcasts and other resources, on all aspects of:

  • mental wellbeing, such as mindfulness videos
  • physical wellbeing, such as workout videos and healthy recipes
  • social wellbeing, such as advice on combating loneliness
  • financial wellbeing, such as articles on saving and budgeting

Essex Working Well e-learning, events and sessions

Essex Working Well runs a range of free live events, e-learning resources and recorded sessions available to workplaces across Essex, including Essex County Council.

Topics include:

  • men’s health
  • menopause awareness and support
  • mental health
  • social media detox
  • imposter syndrome
  • stress management

You can view what's on in the Essex Working Well weekly newsletter. Enter the password 'WeeklyUpdate23'.

Then sign up or log in to book a session. When booking, you will be asked for the 'WHC lead'. Please type 'ECC'.
