Things are changing faster and faster. Balancing our scarce specialist resources against growing demand and doing what matters most is crucial to our success.
This digital strategy outlines the challenges and obstacles face and the five missions that we will focus our efforts on. Our digital roadmap describes the more detailed plan for realising this strategy.
Members and the Corporate Leadership Team (CLT) own this digital strategy. The Operational Leadership Team (OLT) own the digital roadmap and trade-offs to balance our resource and demand, which are reflected in the roadmap.
Measuring success
Tracking our digital initiatives mean we can provide assurance we are delivering our strategy with trust, transparency and accountability. Recognising successes helps us make informed decisions about where to allocate resources, invest where benefits are greatest and identify areas for improvement.
Reviewing and updating
We will refresh the strategy on an annual cycle and the roadmap every quarter.
The Technology and Digitisation reserve provides capacity to scale our delivery. That is managed through the Digital Standards and Investment Board (DSIB) and allocation of those funds is reflected in the digital roadmap and as part of our Medium Terms Financial Strategy (MTFS).
We are developing our communication strategy to provide transparency of our progress. This will be promoted across the organisation to encourage collaboration and make sure we are aligned with other strategies and programmes.
