Sharing with you what's coming up in my diary as opportunities for me to be with ECC colleagues.
In March
- I dropped into the Adults regular live session to say hi and introduce myself. I'm hoping to go again in the future - thanks for hosting me
- Attended the Ambitious Women in Essex Event hosted by Eve Calderbank from our Sustainable Growth team. Good to see Cllr Lesley Wagland as part of it (see my latest update for more)
- Joined Tom Walker and colleagues from the function who joined their monthly virtual 'stand-up briefing' where their leadership team give short updates and other key pieces are shared. I've heard good things about this session and good to near on 280 colleagues on the call that day.
In April - Devo & LGR employee briefings - see below to book
- Details are being being finalised for a meeting with our employee network leads and to talk with our You Make the Difference Winners
- I'll be joining Mark Ash and the Climate Environment and Customer (CEC) functional leadership team and their direct reports for one of their in person monthly sessions. An opportunity to meet some of the team I've not met and to chat to those I've met or with before.
Devo and LGR briefings
There is so much going on across our organisation and of course devolution and Local Government Reorganisation (LGR) are a huge part of that and on our minds.
We will regularly be holding employee briefing sessions so that we can keep you as up to date as we can and you can ask the questions on your mind. Answers to questions will continue to become clearer as we go along. The next virtual employee briefings will be on Friday 25 April from 9.15 - 10am and Wednesday 30 April from 11.15am to noon.
Help me to understand what you want to hear from me and how.
As well as hearing from you as part of the Devo and LGR briefings, I'm keen for you to let me know what else you want to hear from me about and the how, as well as the opportunities to be with you as part of your team or service meetings, smaller engagement sessions, through our existing channels or a new way perhaps. Let me know through this short anonymous feedback form. I really appreciate your time and input.
Thanks - Nicole
