If you or someone who reports to you is experiencing stress at work, it's a good idea to fill out a stress risk assessment (DOCX, 210KB). This is a form that helps figure out what's causing the stress and how to deal with it.
You can find instructions on how to fill out the form in the stress risk assessment guide (DOCX, 58KB).
Managers can also read the Health and Safety Executive (HSE) information about stress and mental health at work.
Teams should do a stress risk assessment too, using the same form and instructions as for one person.
Managers should do this every year or whenever something changes. This helps make sure work doesn't cause too much stress.
