Ending a temporary agency worker’s assignment
Unless a special provision has been agreed, there is no requirement to give notice to a temporary agency worker. Temporary agency workers are also not obliged to provide notice to Essex County Council (ECC).
However where possible, we would encourage you to give a minimum of one week’s notice when you end a temporary agency worker’s assignment to give due courtesy.
To end the assignment, you need to notify us by emailing the Resourcing team (PDF, 125 KB) who will manage this on your behalf.
