Our children and families’ services aim to make sure children, young people and families in Essex are fully supported and protected, and enjoy the best start in life.
Covering a range of different areas, such as early help and prevention, family support and social work intervention, children and families’ colleagues within the function have a range of skills and come from a variety of backgrounds.
If you work within this function, you can find all your policies, procedures and practice guidance on the Children and Families document website.
Mosaic user guides can be found on the Children and Families case management Sharepoint site.
Our children and families’ colleagues are innovative, working effectively with individuals and providing support specific to their individual needs, rather than imposing things on them.
They champion the interests of children and families at all times and work collaboratively with partner agencies to identify and safeguard those who are most vulnerable.
