Mitie services

Mitie provides Essex County Council with facilities management, property management and utility management services (gas, water, electric) as part of an integrated facilities management agreement.​ The contract is managed by Essex Property and Facilities.

Mitie services include:

• building maintenance
• facilities services such as office cleaning and window cleaning, water coolers, vending machines, energy (excluding street lighting), cabinet towels and laundry
• furniture for office use
• office rentals and property valuations
• sanitary, medical, clinical and sharps disposal units
• printer toners and cartridges
• catering for County Hall
