As an organisation, we are proud to celebrate the contribution of long-serving employees. We have many colleagues who have been with Essex County Council (ECC) or in local government for years and their loyalty and commitment play a huge part in how we deliver high quality services for the Essex residents who rely on them. It’s great to see so many colleagues who have chosen to grow their careers with us.
Celebrating decades of dedication
Recently, we held a Long Service Celebration event at ACL Brentwood to celebrate those who reached key milestones in their careers—25, 30, 35, 40, 45 and even an incredible 50 years of continuous service.
Nicole Wood, Chief Executive, and Cllr Ray Gooding, Chairman of the Council, led the celebrations, offering heartfelt thanks to all the colleagues whose years of service have shaped Essex through their experience and dedication. To help celebrate with those who could attend, colleagues from our senior leadership team were also at the event to thank and pay tribute to those who work in their functions.
A full list of employees reaching a milestone this year can be found here. Congratulations go out once again to each of them. If you would like to congratulate a colleague mentioned, please use the comments area at the end of the story. It would be great to show your support for those you work with on their achievement.
